Voiced In: Dude Stop
"So, I made a game, right? I filled it with harmless funny puzzles, narrated it a little bit, and then players started making fun of it! They broke the game and ignored my rules! They... they... laughed at me! As if it was some kind of a joke! Why do they have to be so mean?!"
Characters: Narrator for the entire game
Experience: So I actually was scouted by the developer for this one way back late 2015 and took quite a while to get to the point where I was required for anything other than the trailer, understandably so since game development is no joke. The game took a huge jump in what was included from what I know which is super cool! I love it when projects are all that they can be.
So, once we got around to recording for the game it was quite the daunting task with over 14,000 words to record during live sessions with the developer which was a ton of fun. Any other VA's reading this will understand this next bit but we had to do it in couple of hour spurts due to this entire game basically be me shouting at the player, water, honey (BLEGH) and vocal warm ups were my best friends during this one. #TakeCareOfYourVoice
Overall I'm super excited to see where this one goes with it being the project I've put the most amount of time into with around 14 hours of dialogue recorded and it's demo was very popular with a lot of big content creators, I even remember seeing comments mentioning that they'd only buy the game if I voiced in it! Which was a very humbling experience indeed. =w=
